Last Friday, NPCA President & CEO Fred Grubbe submitted his resignation to pursue another opportunity. Fred will be leaving NPCA in early August.
I want to thank Fred for his dedication, leadership and hard work over the years. We will continue to work together right up until his departure to continue advancing NPCA and the industry.
The Executive Committee and the Board of Directors are working diligently to put in place a plan to support our amazing staff so that they may continue to do the association’s work during this interim period. Once these plans are finalized, be assured that we will share them with you.
The Board has asked me to begin assembling a search team to work with a consultant that will assist us in finding and hiring Fred’s successor. That process is underway.
Please look for periodic updates, as new information becomes available. Although transitions like this can be daunting, the Board and I are confident that the business of the association will continue without interruption and that the search process eventually will lead us to the next leader of our great organization.
Thank you for your support and for your membership in the NPCA.
Sincerely,
Joel Sheets
Chair of the Board
