Awards
The Pinnacle Awards will be presented at The Precast Show during the Epic Grand Celebration in Orlando. A Best in Show trophy – the Pinnacle Award – will be awarded.
The Best in Show Award winner will receive:
- A traveling trophy engraved with the company’s name and logo.
- A catered lunch event at the plant for all company employees.
Attendance at the Epic Grand Celebration is not a requirement to receive an award.
The NPCA Safety, Health & Environmental Committee invites you to participate in the NPCA Safety Awards program. The program honors safety-conscious NPCA Producer members for their achievements during the 2011 calendar year.

Awards are categorized by man-hours as follows:
| Category I | 0 – 60,000 hours |
| Category II | 60,001 – 120,000 hours |
| Category III | 120,001 + hours |
This reportable-injury/illness incidence rate (IR) is based on the number of OSHA 300 log reportable injuries and illnesses for each facility during the reporting period compared to the number of hours worked. The OSHA incidence rate formula will be used to express all entries as the number of recordable cases per 100 employees. This is accomplished by applying the formula listed below:
IR = (No. Recordables) (200,000)
(Total no. hours worked)*
* Please note the total number of hours worked should include both hourly and salaried employees.
All 2011 Safety Award winners will be presented with Safety Award Recognition name badge ribbons during The Precast Show.
For more information about the Safety Awards, contact Liz Todd at (800) 366-7731.
