Director of Certification & Regulatory Services
Role: Rich promotes plant certification and quality assurance programs to the industry, specifiers and government agencies. A 10-year employee of NPCA, Rich has developed relationships throughout North America with U.S. Federal Highway Administration officials, state DOT officers and health department regulators. He also manages NPCA relationships with federal entities that require NPCA’s plant certification program, such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Veteran’s Administration. In his liaison role, Rich works to ensure that specifying groups understand the importance of plant certification as a quality assurance tool, while promoting to NPCA members the critical role of quality control in every step of the manufacturing process.
Experience: Rich has been with NPCA for over 10 years. Prior to working for the association, he pursued several entrepreneurial endeavors, owning and operating a variety of businesses.
