Product Certification/Listing for Residential Storm Shelters
NEW
ANAB has granted NPCA a program scope extension of the Plant Certification program to offer the product specific listing exclusively for precast concrete residential storm shelters. By obtaining a product listing for your storm shelter models, you give specifiers the assurance that your products are designed and manufactured to applicable industry standards and ensure you can supply product in areas where a listing is required. This optional program goes beyond plant processes with additional criteria as required under the ANSI/ICC 500 standard. In addition, storm shelter models listed will appear on the NPCA website during member searches so specifiers can see which models are listed by your plant.
Plants opting for product certification must apply and complete a detailed submittal package of information based on the most current applicable ANSI/ICC 500 standard.
