From Youtube content makers to you-too concrete designers, the group at DIY to Create recently constructed a fully functional concrete bicycle that rolls, pedals and gets around town.
The only part of the 300-pound bike not made from concrete is the chain. The group used pipe and plywood to construct a frame then laid the concrete around it. It took about 60 days from start to finish to create.
The bike comes without brakes, so slowing down takes a little advanced planning, and going downhill is not recommended.
Our advice: Next time, visit a precast concrete facility. You would have gotten your bike up and running in a couple of days.
