Advocacy

NPCA represents the manufactured precast concrete industry and advocates on our members’ behalf with government officials at the state and federal level. The NPCA professional staff also regularly represents members at codes and standards meetings, industry-related conferences and with private groups that specify building materials.

Building Relationships

At the federal level, NPCA works with Innovative Advocacy, a D.C.-based consulting group, to reach members of Congress and executive agencies on behalf of the industry. Read Precast Today for a quarterly update from Innovative Advocacy on what is going on in Washington and a roundup of issues that will affect the precast concrete industry in the coming months.

NPCA is a member of the North American Concrete Alliance, a group of concrete-related associations that lobby members of Congress and advocate on the national level as a collective. NACA organizes a D.C. fly-in each spring where association representatives schedule meetings with members of Congress to discuss issues pertinent to the industry. Follow NPCA’s social media sites and the Precast Express newsletter for updates on upcoming fly-ins.
