At its mid-year meeting, the NPCA Quality Assurance/Quality Control Committee made updates and changes to the NPCA Quality Control Manual for Precast Plants in a number of sections. The summary of changes, the revised manual and a button to submit comments by email to Phil Cutler, P.E., are below.
The NPCA Quality Control Manual for Precast Concrete Plant Certification does not claim or imply that it addresses safety-related issues associated with its use. Manufacture of concrete products may involve the use of hazardous materials, operations and equipment. It is the user’s responsibility to determine appropriate safety, health, and environmental practices and applicable regulatory requirements associated with the use of this manual and the manufacture of concrete products.
Use of the NPCA Quality Control Manual for Precast Concrete Plant Certification does not guarantee the proper function or performance of any product manufactured in accordance with the requirements contained in the manual. Routine conformance to the requirements of this plant certification manual should result in products of an acceptable quality according to current industry standards.
No part of this plant certification manual may be reproduced in any form without permission in writing from the NPCA, the association of the manufactured concrete products industry.
