- Embrace: Welcoming new people into the industry.
- Engage: Connecting them with people and opportunities in precast.
- Empower: Developing them into the industry’s next leaders.
Military veteran program

C2CMI
Created in 2024, the NPCA Foundation’s College to Career Mentoring Initiative (C2CMI) is designed to connect scholarship students with experienced leaders in the precast industry through meaningful, one-on-one mentoring relationships that bridge the gap between education and the workforce. How to get involved
NPCA members are encouraged to connect with local students and professors to establish themselves as partners, providing materials, sharing expertise and giving plant tours. Here are some additional ways to get directly involved with the NPCA Foundation programs.
Host an intern
Students need the hours to advance their scholarship awards, and your company gets early access to the talent pipeline.
Serve as an industry liaison
There are numerous activities throughout the year that pair students with industry liaisons who provide resources and connections to experts, including the Precast Solutions Student Competition and ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition.
It’s a direct way to reach out to local universities and build relationships with the next generation of engineers and specifiers.
Email foundation@precast.org if you are interested in this opportunity.
Become a mentor
