The NPCA Annual Convention Plant Tour is a popular and fun event where guests travel to a nearby precast concrete facility to get an up-close and inside look at how that facility operates.
This year, NPCA is partnering with Jensen Precast in Tucson, Ariz.
Jensen Precast’s Tucson facility opened in 2004 as Jensen expanded its service in Arizona. The 13-acre facility employs 38 employees. It manufactures reinforced concrete pipe, manholes, utility vaults, box culverts, retaining walls and transformer pads. Product equipment includes a 2-yard Skako mixer and a 100,000-capacity Mi-Jack. The plant’s project highlights include the Sand Dune Express and data centers.
Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs and steel-toed shoes are required on the tour. No photos or video allowed.
