With the numerous components precasters provide to a wide variety of building projects, and the number of ways precast can help earn LEED points, the LEED rating system continues to grow in importance as precasters are increasingly asked to contribute to LEED design projects. To assist members, NPCA launched the LEED calculator for U.S. projects. The calculator was developed in order to simplify the paperwork requested for the completion of LEED Credits MR 4 and MR 5. We are now happy to report the calculator has been expanded to include the Canadian LEED rating system, as well as allow entry of Canadian postal codes in either rating system.
