One of the biggest challenges in precast concrete quality control is troubleshooting. When it comes to issues with fresh concrete properties, the cause could be a combination of many factors. During this webinar, we will look specifically at how cement can impact fresh concrete properties. We will examine details contained in a cement mill certificate and explain how some of the data contained in the chemical and physical tables can impact set, water demand, air content, reactivity of fly ash and admixture dosage. Tracking some of this data can reveal patterns that may coincide with fresh concrete issues and provide insight into potential causes. The information shared during this webinar will be valuable to any personnel involved in quality control and batching of concrete.
