Course Description:
The precast industry and NPCA producer members rely on ASTM standards to provide standards on how to produce products that comply with project specifications and testing procedures to test and verify compliance. Additionally, many ASTM standards are required to be compliant to meet the provisions within the NPCA Quality Control Program and the individual plants quality control plan. However, as the technology changes or processes improve, these ASTM standards can also change to meet the times. This course will discuss important recent changes within ASTM product or testing standards that can affect NPCA members.

- Identify ASTM standards and the different committees that develop them.
