NPCA Staff Report
NPCA Director of Codes and Standards Daryl Burns, P.E., recently was appointed to two American Concrete Institute committees and two ACI subcommittees.
Burns joined the committees for ACI 301-00 Specifications for Concrete Construction and ACI 350-00 Environmental Engineering Concrete Structures. ACI 301-00 develops and maintains specifications for concrete construction, while ACI 350-00 develops and reports information on environmental engineering concrete structures
Burns also is part of the following subcommittees: ACI 301-0M Precast Structural Concrete – Section 13 and ACI 301-0N Precast Architectural Concrete – Section 14, which develop and maintain their respective specifications for concrete construction.
NPCA staff members represent NPCA members within associations such as ACI. NPCA staff members also attend industry-related conferences with national, state and local entities that specify building materials to further our members’ interests. Visit the Working for You page for an upcoming schedule.
