Two NPCA technical staff members participated in the Tennessee Department of Transportation Annual Meeting in early March.
NPCA Director of Certification and Regulatory Services Chris Frederick attended the meeting alongside NPCA Director of Quality Assurance Programs Phil Cutler, P.E. In addition to TDOT personnel, there were precast concrete manufacturers and other industry partners in attendance.
The meeting centered around discussion on 2021 Quality Assurance program changes and TDOT’s expectations for producers moving forward.
Frederick offered a brief presentation on common deficiencies that NPCA experienced in the Plant Certification program throughout 2020 and gave an update on Production and Quality School course availability and audit schedules for 2021.
