On Nov. 20, NPCA Director of Codes and Standards Eric Carleton, P.E., and Director of Certification and Regulatory Services Chris Frederick attended a virtual workshop hosted by the City of Honolulu, Hawaii.
The meeting was broken up intothree different groups, during which, Carleton and Frederick attended the Drainage Infrastructure portion to discuss pre-final draft revisions to the City of Honolulu’s standard specifications – details that hadn’t been changed in over 30 years.
Their end goal was to have NPCA recognized in the City of Honolulu’s final draft by the end of 2020.
Contact Chris Frederick for more information on NPCA’s efforts in specification development.
