NPCA professional staff conducted two education sessions in the association’s first-time visit to the 106th Annual Purdue Road School in West Lafayette, Ind.
Hosted by Purdue University on March 10-11, the Purdue Road School is a meeting of more than 3,000 federal, state and local agencies, industry consulting and academia involved in the transportation industry.
During the conference, Director of Technical Services Kayla Hanson, P.E., offered an education course on the topic of Jointed Precast Concrete Pavement, and Director of Codes and Standards Eric Carleton, P.E., presented a second session on Accelerated Bridge Construction. Both education sessions had more than 60 conference-goers in attendance.

Carleton had exceptional networking opportunities with high-ranking INDOT officials, FHWA officials and a few principals of design firms.
