NPCA professional staff recently traveled to Springfield, Mass., to participate in the Northeast Precast Concrete Association 2020 Winter Conference on Jan. 22.
This year, there were 120 conference attendees – most of which were engineers, with a small number of vendors and precast manufacturers included. NPCA professional staff were featured twice on the 2020 conference agenda.
NPCA President and CEO Fred Grubbe, CAE, had his first visit with the northeast association, and provided a 30-minute introduction during the conference. Following Grubbe’s introduction, Director of Technical Services Kayla Hanson, P.E., offered a one-hour long presentation titled “New Technologies in Precast.”
Hanson’s presentation was well received by nearly 70 conference attendees. After the presentation, Hanson was approached by members of the audience to discuss their new technologies, as well as suggest other industry events and audiences that would benefit from NPCA’s participation.
