On Jan. 22, NPCA Director of Technical Services Kayla Hanson, P.E. returned to Missouri for the third consecutive year to offer precast tank-related education.
Nearly 350 onsite wastewater installers, inspectors, service providers, regulators and manufacturers gathered in Columbia, Mo., to attend the 2019 Missouri Smallflows Organization Annual Conference and Trade Show. Hanson offered two education sessions on precast concrete tank durability for a combined reach of 157 attendees.
This year, MSO requested Hanson to present a more concrete-focused topic, due to a rise in attendees seeking more specific information on concrete strength and durability over time. Hanson presented on topics related to best practices for inspecting tanks and innovations in precast tanks the previous two years.
NPCA attended the conference as part of the association’s Onsite Wastewater Optional Ballot initiative.
