NPCA professional staff member Kayla Hanson, P.E., director of technical services, attended the 22nd Annual Washington On-Site Sewage Association Conference, Jan. 26-27, in Tacoma, Wash. Along with exhibiting at the event, Hanson delivered two presentations. NPCA attended the conference as part of the association’s On-site Wastewater Optional Ballot initiative.
Plenty of heavy equipment was on display in the exhibit hall, including on-site accessories, advanced treatment systems and more. There was healthy traffic at the NPCA booth, particularly after Hanson conducted her presentations, which covered best practices for precast concrete tank inspections and innovations in precast concrete tank manufacturing. Hanson engaged in a great deal of discussion with both audiences after each presentation.
The conference was well-attended, hosting approximately 400 wastewater industry professionals.
