NPCA professional staff member Claude Goguen, P.E., LEED AP, director of sustainability and technical education, offered two presentations Jan. 30-31 at the Minnesota Onsite Wastewater Association’s Winter Convention in Alexandria, Minn.

Just a few hundred feet from fishing cabins on frozen Lake Darling, engineers, regulators, inspectors, installers, service providers and manufacturers gathered for two days of education and networking at the event. Goguen’s presentations focused on septic tank design and microbially induced corrosion and reached roughly 50 attendees between the two sessions. Many NPCA Producer Member companies attended the event, including Wieser Concrete Products, Wieser Precast Steps, Belle Plaine Block & Tile, and Willmar Precast Co.
