OSHA has updated its recordkeeping rule expanding the list of severe injuries that all employers must report to OSHA. Establishments located in states under Federal OSHA jurisdiction must begin to comply with the new requirements on January 1, 2015. All precast companies need to be aware of the changes to the OSHA record keeping rule. Not only have the mandatory report categories changed but the time from is different for some of the new report categories. The risk potential of not reporting in the required time frame is a potential $5,000 citation/fine.
