The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program offered at Middle Tennessee State University and several other universities across the U.S. is a joint initiative between member institutions and the concrete industry.
It provides students the opportunity to enter an industry that has a need for professionals with the skills to meet the growing demands of a progressive, changing concrete industry. This broad education enables graduates to select a career path in virtually every aspect of the concrete industry. The mission of the CIM program is to furnish the concrete industry with its future leaders.
Currently there are numerous graduates, some with as many as ten years of industry experience that have achieved various levels of management responsibility throughout the concrete industry, who can benefit from an advanced degree. CIM’s National Steering Committee Board of Directors is considering establishing an advanced education degree, such as an MBA, to be offered through the CIM program.
To better understand the industry’s interest in such a program CIM has asked us and other industry partners to survey our membership. Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BZZRBG2 ). The survey will be open through Monday, October 11th.
