Current Passport Required For Upcoming NPCA Convention
Are you planning to travel to Ottawa for the NPCA 43rd Annual Convention in September?
If you are a United States citizen, you’ll need a current passport to cross into Canada, whether driving of flying. As of Feb. 1, 2008, the U.S. tightened restrictions on travel as a homeland security initiative.
Because of the added enforcement measures, passport applications have increased and processing times are longer than in past years. The entire application process could take two to three months – or longer.
For more information regarding passports, please visit www.travel.state.gov/passport.
The NPCA 43rd Annual Convention will be held Sept. 17-21, 2008, at the Westin Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada.
